A beszéd és az esztétikai szempont nem teszi szükségessé számomra a viselését, csak az evésnél veszem hasznát, egyébként nélküle sokkal kényelmesebb lenne az élet.
Ha csak evésnél teszem be, annak lenne valamilyen hátránya?

Lehet hátránya a csak evéshez használt kivehető fogsornak. Persze ehhez pontosan látni kellene a szituációt. Milyen típusú ez a pótlás, kapcsos elhorgonyzású, vagy rejtett elhorgonyzású-e pl.?
Kicsit számomra értelmetlennek tűnik a csak evéshez használt protézis viselése. Beszéd közben is van bizonyos funkciója a fogaknak, lágy részeknek. Ráadásul így egyenlőtlenül éri terhelés a maradék fogakat is.
