A térképnyelv esetén, mint más szájnyálkahárty elváltozások esetén is javasolt olyan élelmiszereket és szájápoló szereket használni, amik nem irritálják a nyálkahártyát. Javaslom, kerülje az intenzív, esetleg alkohol tartalmú szájvizeket, fogkrémből pedig az erősen mentolosat, enyhe ízesítésűt használjon helyette. Márkát nem tudok mondani, érdemes kipróbálni párat, mindenkinél másik termék válhat be.
