All-on-4 – Fixed Denture, a Complete Solution with Dental Implants

What brought the patient to our clinic?

Our 82-year-old patient visited us with long-standing dental issues. Her primary goal was to receive a fixed, non-removable restoration so she could once again enjoy the simple pleasure of chewing without discomfort.

Diagnosis and Proposed Treatment

An oral examination and an on-site 3D CT scan confirmed that the remaining teeth could not be preserved. Our oral surgeon recommended their extraction and proposed the All-on-4 solution—placing 4 implants in both the upper and lower jaw. These implants would later support a fully fixed denture after the healing period.

How did the procedure go?

The All-on-4 solution offers a stable, fixed option even in cases of complete tooth loss. The technique involves placing four implants at specially calculated angles in each jaw, which allows the denture to be securely fixed without the need for bone grafting. This angled placement reduces both surgical time and healing duration.
