Dental Consultation

Before any successful dental treatment, it is essential for your dentist to have a comprehensive understanding of your dental status. To maintain a beautiful, well-groomed, and healthy set of teeth, regular screening is crucial. Therefore, we recommend all our patients not to forget their annual dental check-up.

During the consultation, you will discuss your symptoms and issues with your dentist. As part of this, the dental specialist will perform an oral examination. To establish a treatment plan, the dentist will need a digital X-ray taken within the last 6 months. If necessary, specialists from other areas may also be involved in the consultation.

Dental Specialist Consultation

During the consultation, your dentist will assess your dental complaints and perform an oral examination. A digital X-ray (no older than 6 months) is required for treatment planning. If needed, other specialists may also be involved.

Consultation, oral examination, treatment plan ( includes Panoramic X-ray if neccessary)

The general dental consultation includes, when needed, a panoramic X-ray, an oral examination (screening for cariology, periodontology, and oral oncology), and a treatment plan.

45 EUR
Annual control with Panoramic X-ray

Like the general consultation, the annual checkup includes, when needed, a panoramic X-ray, a comprehensive oral examination (screening for cariology, periodontology, and oral oncology), and a treatment plan if required.

50 EUR
Diagnosing source of infection (includes Panoramic X-ray if neccessary)

The goal of focal infection diagnostics is for the specialist to identify chronic inflammation in the oral cavity or jawbone—which may have been present for a long time—that could also trigger inflammation elsewhere in the body.

65 EUR
Specialist consultation (oral surgery, periodontology, endodontics), without X-ray.

During the specialist consultation, you meet with a doctor specialized in a given field. By this time, the general and often the dental medical history has been recorded. The specialist knows your history and dental status, so a more detailed oral examination follows.

45 EUR
Maxillofacial oral surgery consultation (includes panoramic X-ray if necessary).

Maxillofacial surgery is a surgical specialty dealing with the soft tissues of the face, the facial skeleton, and pathological changes in the oral cavity.

115 EUR
Orthodontic specialist consultation without X-ray.

In orthodontics, the specialist uses an appliance to correct deformities and bite irregularities, restoring both the aesthetic and functional roles of the dentition.

55 EUR
Endodontic follow-up with small X-ray (intraoral radiograph).
30 EUR
Gnathological consultation (examination of the temporomandibular joint and the myofascial system, movement analysis, TMJ physiotherapy), includes panoramic X-ray if necessary
105 EUR

What does a dental consultation look like?

If you are a new patient at our clinic, your first visit will include a dental consultation to assess the condition of your teeth and gums. Prior to your first appointment, you will need to fill out a brief questionnaire that includes personal information as well as health-related questions. Based on your responses, we can provide a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs for the best possible results. After completing the questionnaire, the dental consultation will begin. During this consultation, the dentist will first learn about your medical history, previous treatments, oral hygiene habits, and any concerns you may have. Next, a thorough examination of your teeth and gums will be conducted, which is always painless. The dentist will use light tapping motions and visual inspection to check your oral health. Before the consultation, a panoramic X-ray will be taken, which helps identify hard-to-detect, hidden issues. Finally, based on the results of the examination, the dentist will create a personalized treatment plan.

How long does a dental consultation take?

Although your individual condition may affect the duration, a dental consultation typically takes 15-30 minutes. In addition to the assessment, you will have the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have with our customer service team, who will provide helpful advice regarding the scheduling of your treatments. If you have any further medical questions, you will, of course, have the chance to go over the proposed treatment plan with your doctor.

Why are regular dental check-ups important?

Regular dental screenings can help detect serious issues with your teeth and gums at an early stage. This can often prevent uncomfortable and costly complications later on. During a dental check-up, the following issues are frequently identified:

  • Tartar: The plaque that accumulates on the surface of the tooth eventually hardens into tartar, which cannot be removed at home. Initially, tartar may be an aesthetic issue, but over time, it can increase the risk of gum inflammation.
  • Gingivitis: This condition, which affects up to 60% of the population according to some estimates, can lead to tooth loss in severe cases. During the dental consultation, the dentist will perform a periodontal screening to identify any abnormal gum changes early.
  • Tooth Decay: Tooth decay is a common condition that can be effectively treated if detected early. Regular screenings help protect the health of your teeth—so make sure you don’t forget about them!

How often do I need to have a dental check-up?

If you want to minimize the chances of dental problems, you should visit your dentist every 6-12 months even if you don’t have any symptoms.
